Overview

Theia 1918 is a sparse, very loose object of intermediate C3 quality. Its parallax locates it at a very close distance, near the mid-plane, affected by low extinction. It is catalogued as a near-solar metallicity, young cluster (see Parameters). It was recently reported in the literature.

âš ī¸ Warning: This is likely a duplicate object, which shares a large percentage of members with at least one previously reported entry. See table with shared members information.

Classified as primordial binary cluster 359 along with NGC_2547, and of multiple system 76 along with Pozzo_1, NGC_2547 and OC_0479.
