Overview

â„šī¸
Pismis Moreno 1 is a rich, very dense object of intermediate C3 quality. Its parallax locates it at a close distance, above the mid-plane, affected by moderate extinction. It is catalogued as a near-solar metallicity, very young cluster, but with a large variance across recent sources for the absorption and age parameters (see Parameters). It is very well-studied in the literature.

Liu et al. (2025)
Classified as tidal capture (resonant trapping binary) 101 along with CWNU_1228, and as tidal capture (resonant trapping binary) 176 along with HSC_824, and as tidal capture (resonant trapping binary) 331 along with OC_0185, and of multiple system 34 along with CWNU_1126, CWNU_1228, HSC_853, OC_0185 and HSC_824.

Palma et al. (2025)
Part of multiple system G30, along with OC_0185, CWNU_1126, HSC_824, CWNU_1228, FSR_0398 and CWNU_446.
