Overview
OCSN 6 is a moderately populated, very dense object of intermediate C3 quality. Its parallax locates it at a very close* distance, near the mid-plane, affected by high extinction. It is catalogued as an intermediate-age cluster (see Parameters). It was recently reported in the literature.
(*): The parallax distance estimate (~0.42 kpc) differs significantly from the median photometric distance (~1.55 kpc).
