OCSN 268 is a moderately populated, very dense object of very high C3 quality. Its parallax locates it at a very close* distance, near the mid-plane. It is catalogued as a very young cluster (see Parameters). It was recently reported in the literature. (*): The parallax distance estimate (~0.13 kpc) differs significantly from the median photometric distance (~0.19 kpc).
