Overview

â„šī¸
OC 0594 is a sparse, very dense object of very high C3 quality. Its parallax locates it at a large* distance, near the mid-plane, affected by high extinction. It is catalogued as a massive, near-solar metallicity, young cluster, but with a large variance across recent sources for the absorption, age, and metallicity parameters (see Parameters). It is poorly studied in the literature.

(*): The parallax distance estimate (~5.27 kpc) differs significantly from the median photometric distance (~4.04 kpc).
