NGC 1498
Summary
NGC 1498 is a poorly populated, loose object of very low C3 quality. It is located at a relatively close distance from the Sun, well below the mid-plane. It is rarely studied in the literature, with no articles listed in the last 23 years.
Warning: the low UTI value and no obvious signs of duplication (C_dup=1.0) indicates that this is quite probably an asterism, moving group, or artifact, and not a real open cluster.
