Overview

â„šī¸
MCM 14 is a poorly populated, very dense object of low C3 quality. Its parallax locates it at a moderate distance, near the mid-plane. It is catalogued as a cluster (see Parameters). It is rarely studied in the literature, with no articles listed in the last 13 years.

Morales et al. (2013)
Classified as morphological type 'EC2' (partially embedded cluster). Morphological flag: cluster partially embedded, presence of an IR bubble.

Mercer et al. (2005)
Associated with mid-IR extended emission. Cluster of stars. Detected using no magnitude cut. Detected in 2MASS catalog with our algorithm. Detected using 'bright' 3.6m magnitude cut.
