Overview

â„šī¸
HXWHB 5 is a sparse, very loose object of intermediate C3 quality. Its parallax locates it at a relatively close distance, near the mid-plane, affected by moderate extinction. It is catalogued as a young cluster (see Parameters). It is rarely studied in the literature, with no articles listed in the last 6 years.

âš ī¸ Warning: This is possibly a duplicate object, which shares a significant percentage of members with at least one previously reported entry, and a moderate percentage with at least one entry reported in the same catalogue. See table with shared members information.

âš ī¸ Warning: the low UTI value and no obvious signs of duplication (Cdup=0.32) indicate that this is quite probably an asterism, moving group, or artifact, and not a real open cluster.
