Overview

â„šī¸
HSC 2401 is a poorly populated, dense object of low C3 quality. Its parallax locates it at a large* distance, near the mid-plane, affected by high extinction. It is catalogued as a massive, near-solar metallicity, intermediate-age cluster (see Parameters). It was recently reported in the literature.

(*): The parallax distance estimate (~8.35 kpc) differs significantly from the median photometric distance (~5.49 kpc).
