Overview

â„šī¸
HSC 2130 is a poorly populated, very dense object of intermediate C3 quality. Its parallax locates it at a moderate distance, near the mid-plane, affected by high extinction. It is catalogued as a metal-rich, young cluster, but with a large variance across recent sources for the distance parameter (see Parameters). It was recently reported in the literature.

Liu et al. (2025)
Classified as tidal capture (resonant trapping binary) 30 along with BH_54, and as tidal capture (resonant trapping binary) 157 along with Gulliver_5, and of multiple system 15 along with Gulliver_5 and BH_54.

Palma et al. (2025)
Part of multiple system G15, along with Ruprecht_65 and BH_54.

Cavallo et al. (2024)
Silver sample.
