Overview

â„šī¸
FSR 0923 is a moderately populated, very dense object of intermediate C3 quality. Its parallax locates it at a relatively close distance, near the mid-plane, affected by high extinction. It is catalogued as a near-solar metallicity, intermediate-age cluster, but with a large variance across recent sources for the age and metallicity parameters (see Parameters). It is well-studied in the literature.
