Overview

â„šī¸
FSR 0833 is a moderately populated, loose object of intermediate C3 quality. Its parallax locates it at a large* distance, above the mid-plane, affected by moderate extinction. It is catalogued as a near-solar metallicity, young cluster, but with a large variance across recent sources for the age parameter (see Parameters). It is well-studied in the literature.

(*): The parallax distance estimate (~5.24 kpc) differs significantly from the median photometric distance (~2.96 kpc).

Relatively close Moderate extinction Near-solar metallicity Young
