Overview

â„šī¸
DBSB 115 is a poorly populated, loose object of low C3 quality. Its parallax locates it at a relatively close* distance, above the mid-plane, affected by high extinction. It is catalogued as a young cluster (see Parameters). It is rarely studied in the literature.

(*): The parallax distance estimate (~1.65 kpc) differs significantly from the median photometric distance (~2.63 kpc).

Note: This object shares a large percentage of members with at least one entry reported in the same catalogue. See table with shared members information.

âš ī¸ Warning: the low UTI value and no obvious signs of duplication (Cdup=1.0) indicate that this is quite probably an asterism, moving group, or artifact, and not a real open cluster.
