CWNU 4789 is a sparse, very loose object of intermediate C3 quality. Its parallax locates it at a large* distance, above the mid-plane, affected by moderate extinction. It is catalogued as a very young cluster (see Parameters). It was recently reported in the literature.
(*): The parallax distance estimate (~9.07 kpc) differs significantly from the median photometric distance (~5.89 kpc).
