Overview

â„šī¸
CWNU 463 is a moderately populated, dense object of intermediate C3 quality. Its parallax locates it at a relatively close distance, near the mid-plane, affected by high extinction. It is catalogued as a near-solar metallicity, young cluster, but with a large variance across recent sources for the absorption, age, and metallicity parameters (see Parameters). It is poorly studied in the literature.

Liu et al. (2025)
Classified as primordial binary cluster 75 along with Gulliver_19.

Palma et al. (2025)
Classified as optical pair P376, along with Gulliver_19.

Cavallo et al. (2024)
Gold sample.
