Overview

â„šī¸
CWNU 102 is a poorly populated, very dense object of intermediate C3 quality. Its parallax locates it at a close distance, above the mid-plane, affected by low extinction. It is catalogued as a near-solar metallicity, young cluster, but with a large variance across recent sources for the absorption and metallicity parameters (see Parameters). It is poorly studied in the literature.

Liu et al. (2025)
Classified as primordial binary cluster 57 along with Pismis_5, and of multiple system 23 along with OC_0467, DBSB_19 and Pismis_5.

Palma et al. (2025)
Part of multiple system G68, along with Pismis_5, DBSB_19 and OC_0467.

Cavallo et al. (2024)
Gold sample.
