Overview

â„šī¸
Cepheus C is a sparse, very loose object of very low C3 quality. Its parallax locates it at a large distance, above the mid-plane. No fundamental parameter values are available for this object. It is rarely studied in the literature, with no articles listed in the last 23 years.

Note: This object shares a significant percentage of members with a later reported entry. See table with shared members information.

âš ī¸ Warning: the low UTI value and no obvious signs of duplication (Cdup=1.0) indicate that this is quite probably an asterism, moving group, or artifact, and not a real open cluster.

Bica et al. (2003)
Classified as infrared cluster (IRC).
