Overview

â„šī¸
Berkeley 14A is a poorly populated, moderately dense object of intermediate C3 quality. Its parallax locates it at a relatively close distance, near the mid-plane, affected by low extinction. It is catalogued as a massive, near-solar metallicity, very young cluster (see Parameters). It is well-studied in the literature.
