Overview

â„šī¸
BDSB 125 is a moderately populated, very loose object of low C3 quality. Its parallax locates it at a moderate* distance, near the mid-plane, affected by very high extinction. It is catalogued as a very massive, very young cluster (see Parameters). It is rarely studied in the literature.

(*): The parallax distance estimate (~4.10 kpc) differs significantly from the median photometric distance (~6.70 kpc).

Note: This is very likely a unique object, which shares a small percentage of members with at least one previously reported entry. See table with shared members information.

âš ī¸ Warning: the low UTI value and no obvious signs of duplication (Cdup=0.89) indicate that this is quite probably an asterism, moving group, or artifact, and not a real open cluster.
