Overview

â„šī¸
Alessi 432 is a poorly populated, very loose object of very low C3 quality. Its parallax locates it at a moderate* distance, near the mid-plane, affected by moderate extinction. It is catalogued as a near-solar metallicity, intermediate-age cluster (see Parameters). It was recently reported in the literature.

(*): The parallax distance estimate (~4.96 kpc) differs significantly from the median photometric distance (~3.73 kpc).

Note: This is very likely a unique object, which shares a very small percentage of members with at least one previously reported entry. See table with shared members information.

âš ī¸ Warning: the low UTI value and no obvious signs of duplication (Cdup=0.9) indicate that this is quite probably an asterism, moving group, or artifact, and not a real open cluster.
